Kamila’s approach in counselling
-
This approach places you at the centre, while I hold a non-judgemental space, allowing you to freely explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. PCT believes in you being the expert of your own life and empowers you to make choices that feel true to you.
-
IFS sees individuals as having many different “parts” inside — like Pixar’s Inside Out. Some of these parts are protective, some are wounded, while others hold our strengths. But all of them share a mutual goal: to keep you safe. In therapy, we gently get to know these parts, with curiosity and compassion, so they can work together instead of against each other.
-
Attachment theory is about how our early relationships shape the way we connect with others today. The way we learned to seek comfort, trust, and safety often shows up in our adult relationships too. In therapy, I will guide you to understand your attachment patterns, which can lead to building stronger self-awareness and develop healthier, more secure connections with the people in your life.
